Well, I finished my raised garden bed a 10'x10'x12". Now I called in for a delivery of garden soil from the local farmers office. Will see how this does this spring.
Looking at the seeds catalogs to see what I want to plant this February and March.
Weather is on the rainy side today with a nip of cold wind to add another way of keeping me in the house. Old dog seems to enjoy that idea...wonder why..

December's Moody Blues are setting in...

Weather in Dixie is a mixture of Spring and Winter you just never know what you are going to wake up to in the morning. Sunday it was in the 50's and today we are looking for temps to fall in the low 40's.

I have noticed some of my surprise lilies trying to break through the ground (now that is not to good for these wonderful bursts of color in the late summer).

Leaves have been mulched for a rich soil this summer what was left my neighbors have found use for in their garden.

I plan to order seeds for the Spring garden lots of catalogs have arrived..with the holidays here my Christmas list is going to be really simple this year.

Well, here is it December and I have to pull out my Christmas Tree...didn't we just do this a couple of months ago?

Will be decorating the trees out side for the birds that live in my backyard...sliced apples with peanut butter rolled in bird seeds with a touch of pepper (to keep the squirrels way) this seems to be the food for the day..
